Editing the Default Skin
Editing the Default SkinHave you been getting worried about how to edit the default skins for Fortnite? There are a lot of concerns you have with this game but the default skins can make or break your gaming experience. If you want to fix these skin problems, you have to understand what they are.If you do not know, a default skin is actually a piece of code that is placed into the game. It holds information like player information, settings, and all other data that are being placed into the game. This includes settings for leveling, maps, rules, items, and more. The skin works along with the gameplay, so it needs to be accurate. You can find the default skin in the My Documents folder of your hard drive. It is named 'default_.' All of the files that are within this folder are the default skins. In order to edit the default skin, you first need to access this folder. Go into your Documents folder and open the Default folder. Inside this folder you will find the file called Default.confi g.You can right click the Default.config file and then go to open in a text editor. This will allow you to create a new default skin by clicking on the 'New' button. You will need to provide the name for the skin.Next, go back to the Default.config file. Find the line that reads 'Include Keybindings.cfg' and replace the quotation marks with forward slashes. Replace the forward slashes with a forward slash followed by a backslash. The 'backslash' is the one you need to change to the forward slash. Now you can edit the skin names and add as many lines as you want. However, there is a limit to how many skins you can create. Try to keep it below five.Another important thing to note is that if you want to make changes to the default skin, you must use a command. These are usually referred to as commands. To add a command, right click on the Default.config file and then go to add.
